Dr. Stephanie Skaggs is a dedicated audiologist at Valley ENT, proudly serving the San Joaquin Valley community, where she grew up. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Deaf Studies from California State University, Fresno before earning her Doctorate of Audiology from Idaho State University in 2023.
Dr. Skaggs completed her fourth-year residency at a private practice in Nashville, Tennessee, where she polished her skills and gained irreplaceable experience. Following her residency, she continued to work with the same practice for an additional year; however, she had a heartfelt calling to return home to the Central Valley, eager to provide exceptional hearing health services to her community.
Passionate about the profound impact of hearing health on overall well-being, Dr. Skaggs is committed to educating her patients on the vital connection between hearing and brain health. She believes in enhancing her patients’ quality of life by empowering them to once again engage fully in social situations.
Additionally, she specializes in tinnitus management and utilizes sound enrichment therapy to provide relief for those affected.
Dr. Skaggs holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to dispense hearing aids in the state of California. With her warm demeanor and professional expertise, she strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and supported in their hearing health journey.
